Shenandoah is the CEO and co-founder of Adventure Nannies, a nationwide agency helping families find freedom and create their own adventures alongside professional nannies and private educators. She has been a speaker and emcee at over 12 conferences and events and has been quoted by CNN, the New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, and other publications. She also operates a boutique consultancy firm called Invisible Consulting that supports women- owned businesses in the domestic staffing and birthwork spaces. She lives outside of Asheville, North Carolina with her husband and two dogs and enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.
